How it works

    Connect your bank through Stripe

    You onboard once with Stripe, which verifies your identity and holds your payout details. Aeon never sees your bank credentials, or your tenants'.

    Add your properties and leases

    Property, unit, tenant, lease — rent amount, due day, and how many days ahead the invoice should be raised. That's the whole setup.

    Rent arrives on its due date

    Invoices generate automatically each month. Tenants either pay from an emailed link or authorize autopay once and never think about it again.

What it costs

1%

One percent of each payment collected, charged to the landlord.

No monthly fee, no minimum, no cap, and nothing to pay in a month where you collect nothing. Stripe’s own ACH processing fee is separate and is charged to your Stripe account.

It is not a tenant surcharge. Tenants are billed the rent you entered and nothing else.

What Aeon is, and is not

Aeon is

  • Software that invoices your tenants and takes their ACH payment.
  • A Stripe platform: every charge is made on your own Stripe account, and money moves from your tenant to you.
  • A record of what was billed, what was paid, and what is late.

Aeon is not

  • A party to your lease. Aeon does not own, manage or guarantee any tenancy.
  • A bank or an escrow agent. Aeon never holds your rent — funds settle from Stripe to your bank.
  • A property manager, a collections agency, or a source of legal advice.

Payments are processed by Stripe, which collects and stores all bank details. Aeon supports ACH bank debit only — cards are not accepted, because on a rent-sized amount a card costs a landlord several times what an ACH debit does. See our Terms and Privacy Policy.
